Guest: Sihle Bolani

Sihle Bolani is a strategic brand communication consultant, strategic facilitator, content creator, writer and public speaker, who was born and raised in Durban and now lives in Johannesburg with her 15 year old daughter.

Sihle works across industries, including: financial services, banking, consumer goods and logistics, but it is writing which inspires her most. Her vast experience and passion for writing cultivated in her first book, We Are The Ones We Need: The War on Black Professionals in Corporate South Africa. Her hope is that her books will help to change the experiences that black people, particularly women, have in the workplace.

Sihle also founded Konnekted, which is a membership based career development platform for Black professional women. As part of her other outputs, Sihle interviews influential figures on her recently-launched podcast, The Workplace Revolution.

In her free time, Sihle can be found experimenting on TikTok, watching Netflix – and once we are back outdoors, travelling and enjoying great food and fine wine.
