The Eldorado Park Township has been on the spotlight this past week after a Down syndrome teenager, Nathaniel Julius was allegedly gunned down by police. Protests continue to take place in the area and today we profile one of the young women from this township who has made strides in the motorsport industry in South Africa.

Stacey-Lee May has become one of SA’s motoring sweethearts. From Eldorado Park in Johannesburg, the 24-year-old has been spinning since a young age and has been hailed as the ‘Queen of Smoke’.
Stacey-Lee is a professional car spinner and stunt driver and this afternoon on #TheSitDownCareers, she speaks to us about what it takes to rise above the stereotypes and hurdles of being in a male-dominated industry, how she found refuge in stunt driving and what the future looks like for women in this industry.
