Workplace style trends to consider for your wardrobe

Psychologically, it has been proven that your wardrobe says a lot about you. The way you dress can affect your mood, your productivity levels and whether you like it or not – overall perceptions about you as an individual.

If you’re looking to boost your style, a small cahnge in your closet could be a great way to kickstart a major career that could bring a fresh outlook on your career.

Today on #TheSitDownCareers, Founder and Creative Direction of The Letter L (a fashion consulting business), Linda Sifumba takes us through staple items every woman should have in their closet.

Linda Sinfumba studied Commercial Fashion with LISOF for two years. She has done work for The Big Brother Africa show and styled music videos for top Hip Hop Artists and DJs. She worked as a fashion assistant at the Sunday Times Fashion Weekly and did talks in collaboration with the Woman and Home magazine, Nivea South Africa, Busby House, Phillips Appliacnes and other retailers.

While working as a visual merchandiser for Mango clothing, she entered a reality TV show called She’s The One on SABC 3 which she won. Winning the show allowed her a platform to really expand and establish ‘The Letter L” as she gained a larger for image/wardrobe consulting with whom she still works with till the present day.

She wrote fashion trend articles for publications such as Bona Magazine, Drum Magazine as well as a feature for the Edgars Club magazine.

Linda recently travelled to Switzerland and Italy with Swiss Airlines South Africa to write on the fashion there. She currently develops content and curates for Nail Bar ‘Studio Moma’ based in Parktown.
